Product Description

This fountain pen is fitted with an extra fine point (0.29 mm writing stroke) silky smooth stainless steel nib with a finely etched leaf pattern in silver. Each pen has 18K gold-plated brass fittings and a black acrylic grip. 

This pen features natural, oceanic origin, grade AAA oceanic white mother of pearl on a round, smooth barrel. Long panels of this precious material are carefully measured, cut, placed, and polished by hand to create a perfectly smooth and seamless round surface. This intensive polishing process shows off the nacre's deep vibrancy and iridescence naturally, with no clear coat or other finish applied. A shimmering array of various colors and hues can be seen shifting on this pen’s body in the light. 

While some makers produce pens with small pieces of mother of pearl, we at Xezo believe that the difficulty and cost it takes to use oceanic mother of pearl of this size and quality creates a stunning effect that is well worth all the work it involves.

We use mother of pearl with a hardness of 4.5 on the Mohs scale (as hard as steel). Mother of pearl is a natural material, and every panel is unique. As a result, some distinctions in the colors and textures in these pens may occur, helping make your pen one of a kind. We truly hope that this quality writing instrument will reflect on the connoisseur’s taste of its owner.

  • Important Product Information

    • Avoid storing your fountain pen upside down (with the nib pointing down). You could damage your nib and cause ink to pool or leak in the cap. It is best to store your fountain pen with the nib pointing up or horizontally.
    • Note: It may take up to 5 minutes for ink to fully flow through to the nib from an ink cartridge. If the nib still isn't working after this time, gently squeeze the ink cartridge to encourage ink flow. If the seal on the cartridge will not puncture, you may need to use a new one.
    • Fountain pen nibs require periodic cleaning to ensure smooth flow of ink and prevent clogging. Inks with additives (lubricants, humectants, or micro-particles / shimmer) are NOT recommended for inexperienced fountain pen users. These additives leave residue that must be flushed from the nib / feeder frequently.
