Shipping policy

General Shipping Information


Order Preparation Time
We aim to send out orders in a timely manner. Shipments are typically prepared and sent out within 1 business day after ordering, or the same business day if the order is placed before the 1 PM CST cutoff time. We ship products Monday through Friday only, with US holidays excluded (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day).

Holiday Season Shipping
While we send out orders as soon as possible, please be advised that shipping carriers may encounter delays, especially during the holiday season and other high-traffic times of the year. With this in mind, please consider placing important orders ahead of time to account for potential delays.

Taxes and Duties
Taxes and duties associated with an order from Xezo and shipped to destinations outside of the continental US are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Unless otherwise noted, this cost is NOT calculated into the cost of your purchase or the shipping charges. These fees are non-refundable in the event the merchandise is returned to Xezo for any reason. Since customs policies vary widely from country to country, we urge our international customers to contact their local customs office for further information.

Refusal of Delivery / Incorrect Shipping Address Provided
If a package is refused at delivery or returned to sender due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the actual shipping charges incurred by Xezo. Once the package is received back to our warehouse, the order will be canceled and the customer will be credited (refunded) for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost of shipping the package. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. This does not apply to packages that appear to be damaged in shipping. Customers are welcome to reorder the item if they desire.

Shipping Notifications and Tracking
Our automated system notifies customers of tracking information as soon as the order is ready to ship. If you have not received this notification within the preparation time, please check your spam filter or contact us.

Signatures
For your protection, high-value orders may not be delivered without an authorized signature. If you cannot be available to sign for your package, then please be sure that an adult who is authorized to sign for your package will be available at the designated shipping address.


Shipping Within the United States of America


Domestic Shipping Carriers
Our online system calculates shipping times and rates (if applicable) using USPS. However, we reserve the right to ship your order via an upgraded FedEx or UPS service depending on several factors; including (but not limited to) the destination's distance from our warehouse, the time of year, and the package's value. This is due to the unpredictability and lower reliability of assured delivery via USPS during certain times. These service upgrades come at no extra charge to you—it is simply our way of ensuring that your package will get to you more reliably. If you specifically want your order to be shipped by the USPS only, please add this in the comment section when you place your order.

Domestic Shipping and Handling Fees
Free basic shipping for orders $5.00 or more is currently offered to all customers within the United States. You may choose to expedite your order, which will add a shipping fee calculated at checkout depending on the shipping distance, package weight, chosen carrier, and chosen expedition option. 

Domestic Delivery Time
Domestic customers located in the continental United States who choose free basic shipping should get their package within 2-4 business days, unless the shipping carrier encounters delays or an issue with delivery. Customers located in Alaska or Hawaii should expect a longer transit time of around 5-8 business days due to distance. Delivery times for expedited domestic orders are automatically calculated at checkout and dependent on the shipping option chosen.

Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Territories
Shipments to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US territories are handled by the USPS only.



Shipping to International Destinations (Outside of the US)


International Shipping Carriers

International Shipping, Handling, and Tax Fees
Customers are responsible for all customs fees, taxes, and tariffs they may incur from their government when they receive an order from Xezo. International orders are charged a shipping fee which is calculated at checkout and based on USPS rates.

International Delivery Time
Transit time for packages varies and depends on type of service you choose. Typical transit times to most international destinations are between 7-14 business days, but depending on distance and shipping carrier load, shipping may be faster or slower. Please allow flexibility for up to 8 business days after the expected delivery date. If you are experiencing delivery issues or have concerns, please contact the shipping carrier or us to help solve the problem.

Parcel Forwarding Services
While we would like to be able to serve customers everywhere, due to restrictions and other issues we cannot ship to every territory globally. Some customers choose to use intermediate parcel forwarding services in order to get Xezo products in excluded territories. While this is not disallowed, we want to forewarn you that there may be a higher risk of losing your package when you use forwarding services. We can only make sure the order gets to the shipping address marked on the order, and cannot guarantee that the forwarding service you choose will deliver the package to its final destination. Additionally, your order may be marked as fraud by our automated system depending on which service's shipping address you use.
