Each premium natural labradorite begins as a hand-selected rough, chosen for its striking iridescent blue-green hues, then is manually cut and polished into a 5+ carat cabochon and hand-set into the pen cap, like a crowning jewel. Each pen possesses a luminous signature quality — no two gemstones are alike, shimmering in vibrant hues. In contrast, the Maestro® Vintage, Jubilee, Oceanic White Mother of Pearl, and Tahitian Black Mother of Pearl collections feature individually shaped, fitted, and hand-polished shell segments without clear protective resin or lacquer coatings. Achieving such a finish is a considerably more time-intensive process, demanding exceptional precision and individual attention to every piece of nacre. The result preserves the authentic, silky-smooth surface of natural oceanic shell, allowing the owner to experience its remarkable texture directly beneath their fingertips, refined by the skilled hands of our craftsmen.

The Maestro® collection also includes sterling silver designs and finely lacquered models accented with genuine labradorite and amethyst gemstones, complemented by elegant precious-metal-plated fittings.
