Paying tribute to modern French history, this model is named after legionnaires, members of the French Foreign Legion.

The Legionnaire Series medium-fine stainless steel gold-plated nib (0.45 mm writing line) fountain pen is produced in a limited edition of 250 pieces, with each pen individually numbered by engraving. These exquisitely-finished pens blend the linear symmetry of the Art Deco style with the natural forms of Art Nouveau.

Each pen is made of solid brass, layered in 18K gold, then mirror-polished for a luxurious finish. The octagonal surface has linear diamond-cut engraving and fine hand-etching of a leaf silhouette in an Egyptian Blue color on 4 sides. Cap-off style.

Elements of this series’ design were inspired by the standards of Roman legions and the famous motto “SPQR”, or “Senatus Populusque Romanus”, meaning “The Senate and People of Rome.”
