Product Description
The Xezo Golden Gate series of pens are individually numbered, and produced in limited editions of 1,000 pieces per style. They are handcrafted using selected panels of naturally iridescent mother-of-pearl and abalone shell. The unique color and texture of each mother-of-pearl and abalone panel ensure that no two pens are exactly alike. The idea of using these beautiful materials originated from observations made of the sky's colors reflecting in the waters of San Francisco's Golden Gate Strait during sunrise and sunset hours. In addition, the design of the each pen's handmade and curved clip was inspired by the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge.Distinctions and variations in texture of the natural materials are not defects, but rather natural attributes which add beauty and uniqueness to each of these handcrafted pens.

Avoid storing your fountain pen upside down (with the nib pointing down). You could damage your nib and cause ink to pool or leak in the cap. It is best to store your fountain pen with the nib pointing up or horizontally.
- Note: It may take up to 5 minutes for ink to fully flow through to the nib from an ink cartridge. If the nib still isn't working after this time, gently squeeze the ink cartridge to encourage ink flow. If the seal on the cartridge will not puncture, you may need to use a new one.
- Fountain pen nibs require periodic cleaning to ensure smooth flow of ink and prevent clogging. Inks with additives (lubricants, humectants, or micro-particles / shimmer) are NOT recommended for inexperienced fountain pen users. These additives leave residue that must be flushed from the nib / feeder frequently.
