Product Description

The lyrics in the song “Eternal Flame” state “Close your eyes, give me your hand… is this burning an eternal flame?”
This was the inspiration for Xezo to create a writing instrument with an intense finish in beautiful hues of red, burgundy, orange, and black in order to create a pen that may be as beautiful and unique as the song itself.

These handcrafted, hallmarked, and individually numbered limited edition pens are made of solid brass and painted using a handheld spray gun. This creates a unique color overlap that resembles an intensely-burning flame. The surface of each pen is then thermo-baked, which turns the paint into a beautiful hardened enamel. Finally, the pen is topped with multiple layers of clear coating and manually polished to provide a silky smooth protective finish.

There are no two pens alike thanks to the manual spraying process of decorating each pen. Every item in this series has a unique color overlap pattern. All metal parts, including the handmade pocket clip, are solid brass with 18 karat gold plating. The pen features a screw-on cap with push posting.

  • Important Product Information

    • Avoid storing your fountain pen upside down (with the nib pointing down). You could damage your nib and cause ink to pool or leak in the cap. It is best to store your fountain pen with the nib pointing up or horizontally.
    • Note: It may take up to 5 minutes for ink to fully flow through to the nib from an ink cartridge. If the nib still isn't working after this time, gently squeeze the ink cartridge to encourage ink flow. If the seal on the cartridge will not puncture, you may need to use a new one.
    • Fountain pen nibs require periodic cleaning to ensure smooth flow of ink and prevent clogging. Inks with additives (lubricants, humectants, or micro-particles / shimmer) are NOT recommended for inexperienced fountain pen users. These additives leave residue that must be flushed from the nib / feeder frequently.
