Limited edition of 500 pieces. Copyrighted Design by Xezo.
For the 70th anniversary of the famous Air Commando Group, Xezo created the 4th edition of Air Commando Timepieces (the first generation was introduced in 2004).
The case and bracelet are produced from surgical-grade solid 316L stainless steel with brushed and mirror finishes. The raised and polished silver numbers on the outer rotational bezel complement the appearance of this timepiece.
This watch has 2 rotational bezels: the outer bezel records elapsed time in minutes or seconds, and the inner bezel records elapsed time in hours. It can also be used an a third time zone.
The Swiss-made ETA 2893-2 mechanical automatic-winding movement is extremely accurate and fitted with a 24-hour second time zone, stop second device, and shock absorber which provides precision and reliability as legendary as the watch's namesake.
Built to last, the Air Commando is made with a screw-down crown at 3 o'clock and is water-resistant to 30 ATM (300 meters or ~984 feet). The watch’s case meets the ISO 6425 diver's watch standard. Each tube that holds the crown is welded to the case. The case is topped with a Swiss-made, anti-reflection treated, scratchproof sapphire crystal glass that features a magnified date. The dial displays easy-to-read luminescent numerals and hands produced with Swiss Super-LumiNova® material.
