This unique pen from Xezo's collection celebrates the power of inspiration.

The O Sole Mio pen is entirely made by hand, from the clip to the painted metal grip section. It is named after the famous Italian song "O Sole Mio". If you have ever had a chance to see the sunrise in Naples, Italy, then perhaps the melody of "O Sole Mio" would have been a perfect addition to the scene. This imagery of the Napoli sunrise inspired us to make this unique production of pens, which is limited to 200 pieces per style worldwide.

There is a saying that no two sunrises are ever the same, and in this way no two of Xezo’s O Sole Mio pens are alike. Each pen is painted by hand using a spray gun. Between 30 to 40 layers of paint, blended with different colors, are applied on the barrels and grip section of each pen. After each layer of paint, a layer of clear lacquer is applied on the surface of the barrels and grip section, then the surface is thermo-baked and manually polished before the next layer of paint is applied.
At the end of the process, the pen is topped with a triple layer of translucent coating and polished, adding extra shine and protection. This intensive process ensures every one of these pens is truly unique.

The pen’s weight-balanced barrel and cap are produced from solid brass. The 4-sided spring clip is manually polished for a one-of-a-kind look. The fittings are made of 18k gold-plated brass. Each pen has a unique serial number.
Even the most sophisticated photography is unlikely to capture the full effect of the unique colors applied to this pen.
